While out working yesterday, I thought I might as well take a shot of this old but still burning bright red Pontiac Indian neon sign. Beaman has been in business for a long time here. The story goes that the sign was taken down some 20 years back and repainted red again. However the neon is all original and stay tuned, in the next few days I'll get it lit, at night! I've lived here 20 years and just now getting round to taking a picture of it.

Nice picture.... but till this day I still can't believe Pontiac is gone. They had such great cars in the 60's. They were once in 3rd place in production within GM. They had the GTO, Grand Prix ,firebird trans am, Catalina 421 light weight. The list goes on. I think the 05 GTO didn't help convince GM to keep Pontiac. It was kind of the nail in the coffin. Too bad as a kid I loved Pontiac cars. Owned a few in my later years.
