This is my only vase of this type and what I liked were the optical effects created by the curving shape. Silver collar with British hallmarks.

I see a lot of vases similar to this but this one has particularly nice pinched curvy shape
I see a lot too, Fran, and don't usually go for them, but decided to have one example!
I actually love this shape when I see them, I'm not sure why, it just appeals. This one however, is even better. The green threads amplify the shape and shows it's geometry so well. Great vase Peggy!
I suppose it appeals to my love of optical effects, Karen. You don't really get that with the straight ones, though the rubina verde ones are pretty.
Clear lines,clear form - they are very expressive.
