Does anyone not remember valentine cards that we gave to each other in the 1940's. Always hoping you would get one from that special someone?

Oh I love this ! And it was such a favorite day in grade school for me when we dropped the card for each friend we hand selected into a paper bag hanging on the back of their chair . Your card is exceptionally precious !

Thank you for your comment. My teacher made a mailbox out of cardboard with a slot on top to drop the valentines in.
On Valentine's Day it was opened and the names called out.
School Days back then sooo enjoyable. That was a different age. It was a wonderful for us even tho there was a war going on.
