Very Nice Gold, Black and sparkling diamond looking facet necklace. The ring is H.G.E 18kt. It looks as though someone may have had the ring made to copy the style of the necklace.

Parent passed away and the necklace was passed down. Found in parents belongings.
Yes, it is ! When I saw it I said the same thing. I was surprised that the 2 pieces look like they were designed together. From what I understand is that Monet did not use hard gold electroplate. I think the ring was made after whoever purchased the necklace and had it made so that it looked as though they were made together.
