This is a very cool variation from my "Anomaly Series" that I'll call Drape pattern. It falls under the decor category of pulled glass. The colored rods (in this case black and white) are wrapped around the vase in a spiral, a tool or mold is used to pull parts of the spiral downward to produce a drape effect. This vase is about 10" tall and you can see his little brother has very similar decoration. Both shapes are not identified with any glass producer that I'm aware of . These ribbons are on the surface and not cased into the glass. I've seen a variation of this drape decor in red and black on crystal base glass.
