Hi, I bought an older house years ago near Pittsburgh and the owners left this table in the attic along with a lot of other things. We had a junk collector come through to take some things, and when he saw this he said "I assume you're keeping this antique table?" I was like "of course" ha ha! but honestly have no idea if it's worth anything.

I am curious about the numbers in chalk on the bottom. I don't know what kind of wood this is. It does not have a drawer or claws on the feet.

Does anyone have any thoughts? I appreciate it!

Nice simple drum table in the Chippendale style, may date from the 1940's to 1950's. Its value may be on ebay but worth quite little in the scheme of things now. You could check on ebay but the larger tables there are ridiculouly priced. I would check on some of the simpler auction sites like invaluable auctions which carry the simple to the grand. Pls note the link has the https which means it comes from a trusted site:

Thank you Phil, I appreciate the information very much. What do you make of the numbers on the bottom? I read that the manufacturer may use a label that is the month and year but that doesn't seem to fit here?

      Mid to late 20th century.

Check second hand stores in your area to get an idea of local pricing. From what I have seen these don't bring much.

Chalk could be manufacturers numbers to identify the model # or part of set it goes with.

Thank you Scott. Well it seems I should have let the junk collector take this "antique" after all. Really glad I've moved with it 5 times lol!! Thanks again!

I wouldn't call it junk, but with the condition issues (foot looks badly damaged) this won't bring a lot or have a lot of interest.
