This is a tin toy made by the Wolverine supply and manufacturing co. back in 1955. In 1962 they changed their name to the Wolverine toy co. It's cool and has the different cast members riding with Ralph driving. The safest bus driver in all of Brooklyn and he made $62/ week ! And awa-a-y we go !
I noticed a few honeymooners fans on this site and had to chime in. The show only ran one season 55/56 with I think 39 episodes.
I bought this one last Friday from an antique mall in Tennessee . When I first saw this last month I thought it was from around the 90's because it looked so new. At the time I didn't realize these were collectible . After some research I realized it was made only in 1955. So I got on the phone and bought it. I've bought a few items from them in the past and @ a really good price. This one included. Always been a fan of the honeymooners show as a kid. Been watching the old episodes on Me TV on Sunday nights.
Hahaha love it! One of my all-time favorite shows.
I have a "Wolverine Express" tin bus. I would love to have this Jackie Gleason version. Lots of $$$$ :)

Buckethead: I saw your post and that's a cool bus for sure. Now that I've got another CW member looking for the honeymooners bus I am worried. As Ralph would say " if you think am going to let that happen you're nuts" LOL. I've got a surprise for you next week. Check back here next Wednesday.

Well I said there would be a surprise. I saw this bus last month in a antique store. It was in a case and could not see the date. I figured it was from the 90's because it was like new. After some looking around I found it was collectible. So they sent me some pictures and I bought it last Friday. They shipped it and I got it yesterday. It's in excellent condition with very little scratch marks. So here it is. What yah think. ?

Thanks .buckethead I'm glad you liked it. The other truck is a Smith Miller Mobil tanker from 1949 all original near mint condition. Keep on picking and showing your finds.
I liked this toy but it really didn't fit in with my pressed steel collection of old toy trucks. I doubled my money and just sold it on eBay. Also didn't have room for this really nice piece.
