I've been looking at these Bernard Instone spoons and I think they are sorbet spoons, I have another set here on CW.
What I find weird about these spoons is that the enamelling are all different colours, there are a couple which are similar. I've looked at the year mark and they all have the letter K for 1934, so I'm presuming they are all from the same set. There are four different sections of enamel on each spoon that are darker towards the bowl and gradually get lighter as you go up the handle. They have small hammered shaped bowls which I think are really cute. All the spoons are marked B.I for Bernard Instone, unfortunately the case isn't original but can live with that.

    Many thanks for looking

Hi Karen, these are my other enamel spoons, the enamel is completely different but the shape of the spoons are identical. I do like the way the enamel changes colour from the bowl gradually getting lighter as you go up the handle. Thanks for popping by, it's always nice to see you.

I absolutely love these colorful enamels! It seems at one time it was fashionable to have multicolored sets of spoons or glasses or individual ashtrays.
      Great Instone addition :-))

Oh, so during this period it was the in thing to have multi coloured enameling. Its strange to me that each spoon as a different colour, I'll have to check up on this time period. Thanks for your help kyra, they are a great addition to my Instone collection, it's always nice to have something of his that isn't jewellery.

Hi shareurpassion, unfortunately it isn't Bernard Instone thanks for passing the link on to me.
Over the years I've been surprised by the diversity of his work, there are pieces I would never have believed was made by him. Thank you for your help and thanks for the love. :-))))
