Christmas postcard of yore, shows a "peeper " in the window eyeballing a romantic couple on the couch .
One of several I have posted recently--- " odd cards" sent from OHIO!
The window is open, and the PEEPING TOM looks gleeful. Seems kinda peculiar and the message reads
" I HOPE YOU HAVE NO UNWELCOME VISITORS THIS FESTIVE SEASON."---THIS guy is NOT SANTA!!! He tries to trick by "laying his finger aside of his nose" (Clement Moore"s "Night Before Christmas"Poem)
But remember... SANTA ENTERS BY THE CHIMNEY" Ha Ha!
This thug is dangerous!!
Postmark smeared but I can see Dec 23rd 190-==Pre 1910 anyway-

I have one that says something like, "Our young lodger is so nice," and shows the lodger getting too comfy with the inn-owner's wife, as the husband/owner stares through the window!

It is interesting to note that their upper windows are open.
(Thought it's a Christmas card), I should have added.
The border design is Holly on the left.
I too thought it odd that at that time of the year the window was open. The card message refers to " the festive season". I think the window had to be open so could see the thug. It was fun seeing your card!6
