Hello I have found these lovely stones and am wondering what they could be, I have to take these stones to a specialist to find out what they are, but looking to learn a bit about stones before I do. I have never seen this kind of stone before , these are small and iam thinking they have come from a set of earrings.

I am wondering if this could be some kind of jadeite.

Hi cameo I was just reading up on it, do you have any idea what this colour would be described as, is it blue/green , it's a colour stone I never see anywhere. I think they are over 1 carat, but not checked

Blue-green, turquoise & aqua or aquamarine tend to be used interchangeable in ordinary conversation. And I have found that people's idea of the point at which something is closer to green than to blue differs, so that when describing the same thing using only one word, one person will say it's blue & the other will say it's green.

      It could be Chalcedony.
