Another nice basket recently found at a local resale store. It is lidded and stands approximately 5 1/4" tall.
I do not know the origin of this basket, any help is appreciated.

    I have some of these too....I think a CW expert said mine were Indonesian. Love them!

    Valentino97 look up Hupa, Yurok and Karuk tribes from California I am thinking this is what my basket really is.

    This is not Hupa or Yurok or Karok. I know what you are thinking though, that it looks like it could be a tobacco basket and it does resemble it in shape. But the weave, design, and the rods sticking out from both the rm and the bottom of the lid shows this is not Native American made. Still, this is a nice basket, I have one myself. Or I should say it resides at my mothers home.
