Picked up this lamp recently, it's from Phoenix Lamp Inc. out of North Bergen, NJ. Haven't been able to find out any specific about it. Maybe someone could fill me in, I'd like to find out when it was made.

It looks later 1960's where I found there was a large thriving trade especially in lamps. This went on into the 70's where many lamps of this type were sold. I imagine if you had to change the bulb in the lower part of the lamp, you could unscrew the lamp from the bottom and get to that bulb easily. One thing I found in all my research and owning one myself which has initials and the year 1973, is that they mainly used a metal filament or bulb covering. Usually metal with a lot of tiny holes in it, and it emits the most amazing soft and beautiful light. These often came with a pair of matching hanging chain lights. Most of these sets are unmarked with no markings whatsoever, and this is for the vast majority. With a simple search in google images you should find many similar lamps from 60's to 70's, and most of them have been sold on ebay where you can find many items which may help you also.

The bottom bulb on this one is easier to change out, as it attaches through a hole in the bottom of the base and clips in. Glad I don't have to take the lamp apart to change that bulb. Thanks.
