So gorgeous!!! In the 10-lb bag from Moonstonelover, my favorites:
3"x2" brooch missing one navette. (I can tell because I see the stress break on back picture. It is fuschia, magenta, aurora borealis, red - with the interesting rhomboid focal rhinestones that shape-shift colors from blue to purple to magenta. But, this amazing 50's or 60's brooch is unsigned!
Clip earings are signed Weiss. Sad one of the rhomboid rhinestones is gone.
Beautiful, great color!
Gorgeous, I love this color!
Gorgeous even with the missing stones. You'll find something, somewhere, and it will be restored to it's former glory.
Gorgeous colours!
Elisabeth - yes, the colors are lovely :-)
lentilka - yes, it is really pretty :-)
Bonnie - I think Weiss rhinestones can be found online. Meanwhile, my hair is long enough it isn't even noticable :-)
Karen - Arent these rich colors!
Thanks friends for loves: Kevin, Thomas, Mani, Judy, Mrstyndall, Hel1, Fort, Mike, Ken, Melaniej, Scott, Kyra and Ms.Crystalship :-)
Weiss made very few of these with heliotrope stones!
Beautiful...the genuine article!
Eileen - thank you! Someday I'll find the right stones to fix. Yes, pretty great.
Yes, and very rare and don’t fret about the signature. Weiss made a lot without their hallmark. I’m gonna track one of these down some day, lol. I’ve seen a couple on Etsy. VERY pricey, but so worth it. Weiss went into the stratosphere ( as Phil would say) on these beautiful sets!
Thank you Eileen - yes, these are so yummy. It is such a gorgeous set and I haven't worn it yet...how many days are left I wonder ha ha ha - not being morbid, just wondering if I'll ever wear all my loot - just once? :-) I should wear this pin tomorrow around the apt....
LOL..
MARY, made me laugh!
I wear my jewelry everywhere, even the grocery store. But not so much as late, I have been at my Daughter’s three days a week, ( no school, no preschool) Grandma to the rescue! I wouldn’t trade my “boys” for all the jewelry in the world. But, seriously, I can’t wear jewelry there as the little one ( just turned 4, he’s an Aries too) has to “examine” anything Grandma wears! Hang in there my friend, this whole nightmare will be over soon, I hope.
So true Eileen! Social D is important, but you have to get out and be with family and besties if at all possible. I don't have family close. I thought about loading the car and birds up and driving 1,600 miles to the family. For about 5 minutes.
I’m still looking for a lovely set like this. You do have a rarity here. I have to be careful ( and so do other collectors) as there are so many “not so genuine” Weiss pieces out there. Do your research before buying! And “just keep looking!
And yes, Mary a 3200 mile round trip is a bit much. Stay home and stay safe dear!
