Two pontiled John Ryan potter bottles were dug in down town Savannah. The blue one is rare and the apple green one is very rare. Both are early 1850's. They were dug in two different out house pits. Hard bottles to come by. Nice looking bottles with two large XX's on them. Must have been some real strong beer to drink. I could go for a cold one right now !!

Beautiful photos of wonderful bottles! I so love those colors. They knew what they were doing back then.
