I love early occupational images.
This carte de visite shows a surveyor with his surveyors compass and stand.
The man has been identified on the back and was photographed in Bellafonte, PA.
The photograph has two revenue stamps on the back (I love cdvs with multiple stamps) that date the image from 1 AUG 1864- 31 JUL 1866.
