    1903 Winner, Edgar F. Broad

    First held in 1903, members and their clerks racewalked 53 miles from
    Westminster Bridge to the sea front at Brighton on May Day. Edgar F. Broad,a clerk, was the winner, with a time of 9 1/2 hours, considerably less than the proposed 12 1/2 hours. Published by J. Beagles & Co., London
