    I got this at the Alemany Flea Market today - for free! I knew the dealer and we have always had very nice conversations. After conversing for awhile, he gifted it to me. It's a small vase with an image of General Guan Yu on one side and an inscription on the other. Hand-painted with a lot of skill. there are also a group of three fortuitous bats. It is marked on the bottom. I hope i can learn more about this lovely piece.

      agree a lot of skill, but to difficult for me, this ought to be guangxu, but they Frankensteined the sedimentation and the blushing f the faces is monoc color

      so its probably early republic


      nice vase well done
