Smiling ..now some may say firewood is just that ,,,but its more ..the art of stacking it,.. some like to stack in in a circle and build a roof of firewood on top to slant off the rain and and get air threw it all around and its nice to see when you drive by ...others like to make art of it as I posted one...me,.. I built a shed and just stack it to keep the rain and snow off it ..no time for artce fartce...lol just get the job done and move on to other things to get ready for winter...nothing like a log burning in the the wood stove on a bone chilling night ...and when you lose the juice to the house,.. who cares.. just feed the stove and read a good book ,,,....well back to work...

Gary... you are a shot master! Non speaking of adapting an old lens to a digital camera body ;-))
Raining all day here... no lawn mowing, doggies are taking care of the fire logs... laying all around, gnawed as if big rodents lived in my garden...

Just back from cutting, I enjoy so many aspects of the wood burn. Cookstove in the kitchen warm all winter. I built a similar lean to, simple and does the job.On to the next task.
