This was my grandmothers teapot - I wish I knew more about it so I could find a replacement top. It is painted brown on the inside and bottom, and is a hexagon shape. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I'm pretty sure your pot was made by Lingard. I have a teapot with the exact shape and gold trim. It is very close to this one: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/lingard-webster-30s-oxford-309515275
You might look at this other teapot, also made by Lingard, with the brown pottery like yours: http://www.collectable-china.co.uk/?p=83018#more-83018
