I have been asked to setup this item for a local Kindy to use, but have no idea where to start with this. It appears to have a lever which moves one of the pulleys for some reason and a couple of fixing points. Any suggestions are appreciated. Adelaide. Australia

The top hook is the anchor point, the bottom hook is the load point, and the arm appears to be a rope friction brake, to slow down and hold the load.

Thanks for that. I will be setting it up this week so will see if I can get it to do what they want. I would like to know where it was from but there is no maker or stamp I can reference for this. Thanks
