Found this beautiful Disney Hat Company straw hat, in original box with receipt.
A very dapper gentleman bought this in Chicago in 1966 for $15.56, that’s $117.91 in 2017 dollars.
Perhaps that dapper gentleman wore the this boater to Wrigley Field to watch Da Bears featuring Mike Ditka and Dick Butkus. No doubt following the game said gentleman drank a Heileman’s Old Style to drown his sorrows... the Bears were 5-7-2 that year
