I found this while I was out metal detecting. I can't seem to find anything on it. It's a necklace. Im guessing brass? Can anyone give me any information on it?

It is a modern fantasy piece.

Scott how modern could it be? I found it 8 inches in the ground with my metal detector at an abandoned farm house in Kansas

The belt buckle versions of these first appeared in the 1960s- 70s.

The casting on this shows less details and lower quality than those, so it is probably later (newer).

Yes Scott is correct. These 70's fantasy items are well known and easily recognized by collectors.
