These pictures are absolutely beautiful, very detailed with gold leafing and on silk. The frames are hand carved. I believe they are very old. I did figure out Nick stands for Nicodemus Manarang and found the information below for the artist. A card is on the back for an Art Studio in the Philippines. I really would like to know more about these pictures. If anyone can tell me more about the pictures I would really appreciate it including there value.

Nicodemus Manarang (IV-3), an award-winning artist, graduated with a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Santo Tomas in the city of Manila He owned an advertising company and art shops in the Philippines prior to his migration to California in 1973 where he established art galleries in San Francisco, California and in Phoenix, Arizona. I have 2 small water color sketches by this artist. They are signed and dated '73. One sketch is of a wild turkey and the other of a large mushroom with smaller ones under it. They have a card on the back reading Art Shop of the Philippines, Nick (Y. ?not sure) Manarang-Proprietor, artist, designer. There is more info on the card including Office address and home address. I too would like to know the value of these two water color sketches.

I have 4 small watercolor sketches by this artist. They are also signed and dated '73 with stickers on the backs noting framing done by The Villager Frame Shop in Auburn, AL. The sketches are water scenes, double matted. I found them in a small antique shop in Georgia and would love to know the value.
