I'm not going to try to guess on the maker of this unusual Bohemian glass dish. It is only 4" across, 1 1/4" tall and has an inner carrot-orange spatter that becomes a "snakeskin-like" spatter on the sides/top. It's different so I purchased it to add it to our growing show & tell Bohemian glass stock. Comments always welcome. RER
    Actually of Scottish origin!

Interesting vetraio50 thanks. I couldn’t find anything similar in my Scottish Glass search. Thank you AdeleC, aura, sklo42 and Deano for the love. RER

I agree with Kevin, it's that raised pontil which is suggestive of Ysart/Monart and other Scottish pieces.

I was able to find more specific information on this small pin tray. It was made pre-WW2 by Monart Glass and designed by Paul Ysart. The orange/yellow, brown dish (colour code 68) was made in the “Y” shape, measures exactly 4 1/4” (110 mm) and is quite a rare dish. Monart Glass was manufactured from about 1922 to 1961 at Moncrieff’s North B. I. Glassworks, Perth, Scotland.

Hey Lou look at this - not quite the same but similar enough:

Hi Phil! Thanks....did you read his description of his Monart bowl? He almost wrote a book of glowing praise, alliteration, gushing and flowing prose that would put Shakespeare to shame. I agree that it’s the same bowl albeit without the red colour and aventurine flecks. There is also a green one shown below the eBay page. Bob

Yeah - I did - quite over the top....
