Not ready for display
This little machine was actually purchased for research purposes. The Rex Two hole punch was made by 3 different companies. Tatum introduced it but later sold it to the Delmar Manufacturing Company, Cincinnati, who sold out to the Wilson Jones Company. All three did well with the production and sale of the Rex.
After cleaning it up, it was discovered to have been painted green, a common color for early 1920's office machines. This example was opened faced which would indicate an early machine of this type. No makers marks were found on the machine.
For $9.99 and free postage, I wanted to examine this in hopes of determining who produced it. The winner was, The Delmar Manufacturing Company of Cincinnati. Delmar didn't make the Rex for vary long before tuning it over to the Wilson Jones Company, who clearly marked all such office machines with their name.
