~ Hi CW Gang ~
Just won this at a local silent auction here also. So only had this for a bit of time today too. Pink vase with a Honey Comb pattern in glass ( or should I call it QUILTED PATTERN). Applied twisted ribbon around it. I have not looked around yet but might this be Welz? If not, does not matter as I love it. As you know -- I have QUITE a bit of PINK GLASS......LOL. Any info on maker, or year is appreciated.

Just lovely, and I too think it is Welz. I have two pieces with that 'quilting' and four ribs running from rim to base. One is in a known Welz décor, though the shape is different.

I have not seen one before, but it sure "feels" like Welz to me. How tall is it?

Hi there, forgot to put the size in ...it is 9 inches tall. I did not know what to call the pattern imprint when I referred to it as Honey comb - as not sure it that is the right way to describe it. I hunted CW first and did see that one of yours Peggy. It has only 4 feet on it, and also it you look at pic # 3 here.........it has like 4 even lines going down ( drips ) on the vase ( from top to base ).

I was the only serious ( ... LOL ... ) bidder. Bidding started at $ 2.99 and I had put a "Silent Bid" in for $ 10.50. So I got it for $ 10.50, and no shipping as it was right here...... I am happy !

Welz vote here as well but it is nice to have a second in a recognised décor. The quilting and the rigaree do it 98% for me.
