Ms.Crystal…

This figural has been done by more than one designer. Hattie Carnegie also made him, but she used larger AB rhinestones. Kramer went for a more subtle look with the tiny clear RS. See his tiny rs eye. I also believe the head is shaped better, not so elongated. Between the two, I prefer the Kramer.
Not that I would turn down a Carnegie though. Lol My little guy is in pristine condition which was very hard to find.I believe these pieces were well loved and well worn. Most pieces I've seen the gold plating is worn off or the pave set rs are missing. ( which we all know is a hazard with pave set)
ENJOY!
wow gorgeous !
Thank you Manikin for taking the time to comment.
Much appreciated and for the love!
Ever since you posted this piece, I have been looking for one, for my collection. The Hattie Carnegie's are out of my price range and I can't find a Kramer. This brooch is truly amazing and I'm glad you posted it ! :)
Thank you as always Ken,
It seems the Kramer is a bit harder to come by. There is a solid black one I would love to get my hands on. Kramer prices,( depending on who's selling) can be more reasonable. Good luck, I'm sure you'll find one and I'll keep my eye out for you too.
One of the nicest Pegasus pins I have seen. just on colour alone ! The colours alone are out of this world !~
Phil,my friend,
Thanks for bringing up my Pegasus.
I found a solid black one by Kramer a while back, but the condition was just sad.
I believe he needs a buddy, I'll find another some day...
They are scarce :)
Pegasus had some to do with Music in Greek Mythology.
Nice example!
Thomas.
Thanks Thomas...
I have always loved Mythology..
Wanted to take a course in High School, but it was only for Seniors.
By the time I got there, they dropped the course :(
You Are Welcome!!
Thomas.
Very cool :)
Thanks Trey, have you seen my KJL Pegasus?
She’s even prettier :)
I’ll take a look :)
Took a stroll through your collection, and to my surprise I see that you have 3 Pegasus' - this one is very nice and I love the colors - reading the post above, it seems you did find a friend in the KJL pair. How neat to read back post. Lori
Lori, this was my first fantasy horse, and I got him for a song! Haven’t seen another since! They are very rare, as once they’re in a collection, they stay. Kramer made this little guy in other colors, such as forest green & white, which I would prefer over these colors ( most common) . I’m hoping to find one someday. There’s also a Roman Soldier & Medusa in their Mythology collection.
Neither are of interest to me....
