Project achieved :-)
After thorough cleaning and polishing, I built a wall of stiff translucent paper held with scotch tape.
Applied several layers of Judikins diamond glaze, allowing time to dry between each... replaced the lid to begin shaping while still a little soft.
I shaped it with the outer of a half round stone bangle, applied permanent markers to match the shell color.
Once perfectly hard, I grounded the excess and perfected the shape with my engraver pen, then polished as I could with a 4 faces nail buffer and rectified the color before the final wax polish.
Not perfect, but satisfying result for me ;-)
