AntiqueRose's post of her set (a few yrs ago) reminded me of my own when somebody else brought it up recently-- which I admit I had mostly forgotten about until then.

Imagine my pleasant surprise when, while visiting Mom and Dad again over the past weekend, THERE THEY WERE hanging on a pegboard in their new utility room, along with screwdrivers and such. (and this *after* the whole 2wk long experience with their recent downsizing move/sale/etc.etc., where I would have bet they'd disappeared in a boxful of other crap somewhere or other, ifn's they even still happened to exist at all...???)
This pair seem to be made of some variety of cast plastic/epoxy/resin/something, with their connecting string molded into them. SO happy that I have them again, they still work just fine! <lol>
Lol....They were good memories with these......and Good Bruising too. Yet we kept playing with them.....
