We spent a few days last week around the town of Lunenburg Nova Scotia . Founded around 1753 this Lunenburg a fishing and boat building port approximately 70 kms from Halifax. The racing schooner Blue Nose was built here as well the Blue Nose 11 . It has been designated a United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural historic community. One of two in North America. The best preserved representation of a British Colonial town virtually unchanged since 1885 except for electricity and plumbing. Named as Canada's most beautiful town. These are some of the beautiful houses. Hope you enjoy.

my memere was born around here. her father was a fisherman who was lost at sea.
  16. Caperkid Caperkid, 3 months ago
@ Ho2cultcha if he was lost a sea his name will be on the Martime fishing memorial in Lunenburg. I looked at it for a couple minutes but apparently everyone who was taken by the sea has a name along with the boats name. Thanks for the love and stopping by always appreciated.
