Interesting ship. Looks like it has a smokestack.

@ Fortappace The Pictou Castle is a barquentine style ship if you google it you can get a spot on it and sail around the world. Not sure if it is a smoke stack. Better pictures on their website. Thanks for the love and stopping by always appreciated.

How did I miss this ! Reminds me of the Polynesia that did barefoot cruises in our area, till a storm got her.

Roy, you and I are probably the only living witnesses to identify dinosaurs !

lol I wasn't on that old tub like you... smiling But I did go on the Bluenose that ran from Bar harbor to Noveee and was replaced by the Cat which go's like a bat out of hell ... And I also took the Cat a few years ago which also go's south and hauls lumber and such to your islands to keep the crew working through the winters ,I have a couple of cousins who work on it ..

Can't say I've seen The Cat. If I'm hitchhiking in the Islands on island boats or yachts, it's usually "steerage class". LOL ! A pizza or case of beer($14 there) will get you to the next island or two. More fun my way & I don't get spoiled.
