    ~ Hi CW Gang ~

    Just got this today as a Birthday gift for myself.....LOL. Wow, weighs a TON....well about 16 pounds. This could be used as a weapon due to weight and size. So not a small piece that is for sure. Something different.

    It does have wear on the bottom but more import it has its label. I bought it from the original owner that decided to sell it. This was purchased years and years ago in Canada ( in the 1960's ) at a Hudson Bay Store ( I never knew that they also sold Murano Glass ). I know BIRKS in Canada did, but I guess the Hudson Bay did too. The Cenedese label looks like the one used in the 1950's era. I love it !!!

    Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

    ~ Rose ~

    ==================

    Forgot to add measuremments:

    ~ 13 inches long
    ~ About 7 inches wide at widest point
    ~ About 6.25 inches tall
    ~ and again, about 7.25 Kg or about 16 pounds

      Now that's a centerpiece Rose! The colors are lovely, the form is fantastic, and the size is impressive... One thing that I noticed and love, is the nicely finished pedestal, which you don't frequently see.

      @ Rick55 - Thanks so much for you comment, as you know I respect what you say and your opinion. Your eye for Glass is very Keen!! It is kinda a weird shape and I bought it because of the label. I did look around and did find another Cenedese piece in this *kinda* free form shape ( but tall form ) and also it has the same type of pedestal base on it. Here is a link to that piece @ Ripley's auctions : https://www.ripleyauctions.com/item/cenedese-murano-tri-color-art-glass-vase/

      @inky - Thank you so much Inky for the Wonderful comment and the birthday wishes. It was yesterday. OMG, another year older...LOL. Yes this piece sure is a wonderful color, and again with the label, that is always an A++++++.

      A site I was one said this label is from the 1950's, as some have a dot-dot line in the label and some have just a straight line. So I hope it is from that era, as that would fit in with what the owner also told me. He also told me that the value appraised at around $ 600.00 to $ 800.00, and that the replacement cost for insurance would be $ 1400.00. I know WE DO NOT TALK VALUES here -- but this is also just information that the seller advised me of, and it was just part of the INFORMATION I got with the piece.

      So I can say if that is so -- I got it for a steal
