POLCINI... An Italian designer who came to America in 1911. His earlier works are marked Ledo, and then in the 60's, his son took over and renamed the Company Polcini. One aspect of Polcini jewelry is the beautiful rhodium plating. Back in the day, this method was expensive,( as it is related to platinum) and the company used many layers to achieve a "mirror-like" result.
This set was never worn and is in pristine condition. See the mirror- like back?
Ruby red oval stone for the focal point with over 100 pave' set rs graduated down to two other sizes of oval ruby set stones for the border of this domed piece. Lotta work! With matching earrings!
