    This was given to me by a friend to have it painted. It is a beautiful piece as is. I can not find a maker or any markings on it. 2ft wide, 3ft tall, 18.5 deep.
    Any information anyone can provide would be helpful.

      I'm unsure why anyone would want to paint it? To me, that ruins wood.

      I agree. She wants the piece chalk painted. I don't know much about antique pieces but this writing desk looks beautiful as is, to me.
