Update........
Beginn8ng to take the chairs apart, it revealed the subframe was at a similar standard to motor coach work . All made from ash.
The upholsterer was impressed with the quality that was revealed.

Sourced from the original owner who purchased from the gplan store in London about 1962.

Two chairs and a coffee table to match. Soon t9 get restored and reupholstered.
