A large polar bear figurine, made of red clay and covered in white glaze. It's impressed with "1216 4" and "Made in Czechoslovakia" on the paws.

Height: 11cm
Length: 18cm

I believe it was designed by Jan Pasek for Jihoceska Keramika in Bechyni, Czechoslovakia in the early 1950s. There are similar animals (including a polar bear) in the 1952/5-6 edition of Tvar.

Thank you for looking :)
