    Fleamarket…
    (78 items)

These three are in the other Family Photo and I also have a wedding picture from the man and the one on the right. I'm wondering if this is a Plural Marriage. Notice the Etude Magazine, that's how I found the date for this Picture:)

Excellent detective work! That is EXACTLY what I would have done! I had a feeling it was somethime near Christmas - do you see the accordion paper bells in the upper center of the picture? They are still up from Christmas. AND I will guess that they were red.

I Love the rocking chair on the right. (Looking at photo right) The barley twist! Changing the water in that fishbowl would be a pain!

Fascinating view. I didn't know those kitschy pictorial pillows and folding paper wedding bells went back so far. Both of the big house plants are still commonly seen today.

Thank you Celiene. I was wondering what those were! I love the decor in this room, to the rug, wood floors and furniture. Just my style.

That so funny Macdaddy! She really does look like she's from the The Wizard of Oz. My favorite!

SpiritBear I was sort of thinking that. Those cheap paper bells are still made today. They sort of looked Photo Shopped lol.

The clothing they wore back than was so dreary. It's like dressing for a funeral everyday. I'm so thankful times have changed.

Are they Mormon? Why do you think it's a plural marriage? I think they are paper Christmas bells, because the magazine is January!

LOL! Where is Tallcakes to tell us the pattern of the cut crystal bowl??

I'm not real sure if it is a Plural Marriage or if they are Mormon. It's just a guess really. It was not uncommon for the area and time. The way the picture is with the man situated in the middle and his women on opposite sides. The woman on the left looks maybe like the first wife by the look of displeasure. I just seems that way too me but I could be wrong.

The lady in the left hand chair is wearing a rather nice pair of cowboy boots - maybe they're pinching her toes.

Love the deer hide on the coffee table. Think I might get myself one of those.
