These pottery jardiniere's pedestals are approx. 25" tall. I have never seen anything like them. Unfortunately they both have some damage. Does anybody have any info that can help me solve this mystery? There are no marks.

These are possibly greenware or whiteware. They used to have some stores in a lot of cities until the 80's or so. They sold a lot of pedestals or such like yours in unfinished condition. They had classes which you did in the evening or afternoons where you could pick your piece from an amazing inventory. I bought some small pedestals which came up to about 38 inches or so. I bought from a large whiteware store where you did not have to fire the pieces, but I used enamels most often to get a high gloss.

A pic of the base would help. You can start another thread.
