Glanced at this one when first perusing the shelves at the junk shop and thought to myself "its pretty, but I don't really need another decanter...". Then a little while later when waiting to pay for a couple other things, I looked at it again and thought to myself "but it IS pretty...?" and remembering the "25% off the whole store" sign I'd passed when coming in, I grabbed it too. :-)

Now that I've got it home and washed it -- I'm still liking it an awful lot, and even starting to wonder if I didn't inadvertently score myself a "something" for my couple bucks, besides just a pretty glass decanter...?? It definitely has a quality "feel" to it anyways, after having handled it some now...?

The whole thing w/stopper stands about 12" tall and is about 4" at its widest. The blue color to the ring on its stem seems to be 'applied' to the exterior surface somehow, and there's *one* little tiny spot of something on its clear base which *might* be the remaining residue from a long-gone little maker's label...?? There are absolutely no actual markings in the glass of any kind.

DOES ANYBODY ELSE RECOGNIZE THIS THING, PLEASE...??? Whether a true "art glass" piece with an actual fun history -- or a cheap imported thing from Walmart a couple x-mas seasons ago -- I'd love to know what y'all think about it??

Gonna mark this as 'unsolved mystery', in hopes for y'all's comments -- THANKS in advance?!

THANKS SO MUCH to fortapache, Caperkid, blunderbuss2, and aura for your <loves>!!

But meanwhiles judging by the lack of anybody's recognitions/fun clues/etc., it seems I'm leaning back towards the decanter being 'fresh off the boat' from wallyworld or wherever...? <sigh>

OH WELL, I still think its pretty -- and ifn's its truly a cheap 'nothing', I don't havta worry about whether kitty decides its too close to the edge of something one of these days...?? <lol>
