The colours and clear working of this bowl (ashtray) immediately identify it as Sanyu.
It popped up at a shop in Newcastle recently and I loved the scroll like shapes of the clear case on each side, so had to have it.
I don't know which glassmaker at Sanyu loved fiddling with clear cases, but they certainly did some fantastic stuff!.

Learning curve. Have a v similar one in blue clear cased glass. Assumed it was Czech. Will have to rethink! Thank you
