    A pretty glass perfume bottle.
I often find it hard to tell cut glass from moulded, I don't think I own any cut glass to compare with so usually go by seams or indentations on the inside. This has no seams I can see and no way to feel inside. Looking closely though, and having a plain metal lid, I'd say it's moulded, but could be wrong. Still very pretty. Nice how it's ridged down the sides, it also appears to dip in the middle slightly.
I wondered if anyone could give any info on it or help to put a date to it?
    Thank you

It does look like molded glass, but I believe I was reading the other day that well made molded glass is finished so that you can't see the seams! It's also the feel, cut glass feels much sharper to the touch.

Nice little Perfume Vintagefran, I don't know, but looking at the way the light reflex, and the finish on the bottom, and opening, I think that it may be Cut Crystal, and the lid looks like pewter, also something that you would expect to find on a piece like that. Maybe just hoping for you though! :^)

Hi Adele and Bill, thank you for your comments. Adele, I've read sharpness can tell but not having any cut glass that I'm sure of to compare it with its difficult to tell, it's certainly sharpish and catches the light nicely but I'm inclined toward it being moulded. Bill, "pewter"! I couldn't think of its name, which is why I put plain metal, thankyou!. The lid being pewter was one of the reasons I thought it more likely moulded. Wouldn't silver or silver plate be used on expensive cut glass?
