Porsche Design sunglasses. Made in Italy. P'8497. A 135 CE 3 Not sure the year these sunglasses are or if they are knock offs or not. Looked them up online and could not find this model. Anyone have any ideas?

The Porsche Design was launched by Carrera International in 1979. Their operations were in Austria at that time. Carrera merged with the Safilo Group in 1996 and moved production to Padova, Italy. Yours, being from Italy, are probably dated 1996 or shortly after. The model numbers went to the 5000's, around 2000, and currently in the 1000's. That doesn't make sense, but that's what I'm finding.
