Found this trunk cleaning out the garage. Have found it hard researching (Google) trunks as most have latches. Anyone know where I could find information on trunks that don't have latches?

I could be wrong, but your trunk has a French look to it , the problem with trunks is there's not a lot of information about them out there. What is out there has been put there by people like Marvin Miller, of this old trunk, Jim Cardoza, of HMS antique trunks, these guy's have put hour's and years into researching every nook and cranny they could and could probably help you more than anyone I know. greendog

Thanks so much for the link, Drill. Really interesting and exciting to see some trunks looking similar to mine.
