Antique 1840's Thomas Allom Steel Prints of Chinese Life by Rev G.N. Wright

Every year I go up in the attic and take down all the Christmas decorations for my parents who are now in there 80's.This year they asked me to bring everything down that I've been working on for over a week and I can't believe all the antiques they have up there that some haven't been brought down in over 30 years.These 2 original steel prints and unusual yellow vase belonged to my great grandmother.These are 2 of 12 documentary style steel prints called " China The Scenery Architecture and Social Habits of The Great Empire". by Reverend G.N. Wright with Thomas Allom doing all the drawing and artwork.The first print is called "Show-Room of A Lantern Merchant Peking" engraved by F.F. Walker in 1843.The other print is called "Ladies of A Mandarin's Family At Cards" engraved by A. Wilmore.The attic is cool and these are in mint condition without any foxing or mold that measure 11 1/4" by 8 3/4" and were reframed in 1928 in the frames there in now.The yellow vase is supposed to be a lot older than the prints that's a really unusual glass like porcelain material I'm also posting.
