This regal 3"L silvertone brooch by Kramer (1943-1980) has beautiful large ruby red oval stones framed by small white chatons offset by rows of central baguettes. One ruby drops in pendant style, Empress collection 1960s

Ken, you say the nicest things, I'm glad you liked this Kramer as it's a bit over the top for me, and I can't decide how to describe it - old Hollywood, jewels of India, Downton Abbey? Anyway I love the design and figured the red is a good holiday color.

Wowser!!!! Is it heavy? It's super amazing. It c0uld be some sort of centre piece on a crown. Absolutely regal!
Just had another look at this, hadn't looked at the back before now - I see it can be worn as a pendant. Anyway I think that's what that loopy thang is. Still an amazing brooch!
Such kind compliments Gillian, I really appreciate them! Truly this brooch is really a stunner, though I like Kramer pieces it's very grand even for them. The bottom loop stone does move & hang like a pendant. I thought a bit of red bling was nice to share at the holidays & glad you enjoyed

I am so happy that you found this Kramer pendant brooch six-0-one, it is one of my top two (the other being the emerald star) favorite Kramer pieces, so elegant and I think quite royally inspired as you feel very majestic wearing it! I like to take this out around the holidays which are right around the corner - less gathering this year, but perhaps will wear it to a nice restaurant for a holiday meal
