I found this rather lovely metal Swinging Father Christmas in a Junk Shop last year. He is balanced with pegs with crowns stuck on. He looks vintage, but could be new? Happy Christmas to everyone on Collectors Weekly.

I don't know if this is one of their offerings, but Premier Decorations distributes a vast array of this kind of "retro"-style item. Not sure of the age of this one or the actual manufacturer. The mechanism is a simple counter-weight pendulum and is done by probably several makers. I'd have to guess that the clothespins were added later, possibly because of a broken balance wire. They don't appear to fit in with the construction. Pretty entertaining piece.

He's very cool Adele, and I would say vintage.
      Have a great Christmas!

@racer4four - could be vintage, since it does appear to be stamped, rather than molded. The clothespins are still an add-on to correct balance and to re-attach at the pivot point.

Happy Christmas to you too Thomas, and to everyone else on CW. This has also reminded me that I havn't found this decoration yet to put out, so I'd better go and have a look in the garage for it!
