UPDATE JANUARY 11, 2023: MY NECKLACE HAS GONE BACK HOME TO PARIS ! My big find, which arrived today! In very good condition aside from the tarnish. Bought it off a local Dutch website for 25,00 Euro. J.A. GAUTIER was referred to by Christian Dior as 'the Picasso of Jewelry". There isn't a ton of info about him on the web and I don't know too much about this necklace. I think the glass is foiled. Dates to sometime in the 1960s.

valentino > I forgot to mention that the necklace is silver plated. The size of the cabs are 1 inch square. It's heavy, too! Choker length. That display torso is meant for little kid's clothing, lol!

Hi Pascale - thanks for the links! I already have the biography. What is the second link supposed to show me? I saw a similar necklace in black and white. There are no prices there - unless I have to log in first to see them.
