    My favourite rattle in mint condition. A beautiful Solid Silver babies rattle. Not sure of the material used for the teether probably a plastic of some sort. Original bells and fine hand carved body.

      It could well be as its maybe dried out over the years but it feels and looks like some form of acrylic but I am not sure if acrylic was around in the early 1900s. Neil

      Might be glass .... coral or ivory were used too.

      It feels like a cross between glass and hard plastic. It could also be Bakerlite. Thanks vetraio50 for the love.
