I found this interesting pressed Milk Glass footed bowl today. I think it's a Compote, or Candy dish, and I think it may have had a lid, as there is a rim around the top of the inside rim. There are slight cracks around the base, which are very black and could have been there since manufacture. Any ideas on manufacture or date? The glass is very thick and the bowl is 12 cms tall and 14 cms across.

Very nice. I love compotes. Looks nice and old to me, but I do not know the pattern, or if it had a lid, but it might have, and I would not be bothered by a few old marks, that were probably made in manufacturing
