Here is a 2" dangle brooch by Lisner (1904-1980s) that appears quite vintage, with a turquoise oval faceted stone in a raised braided sunflower type design, surrounded by goldtone filigree S-curls with a chevron shaped dangle ca 1940s
Oh, this is beautiful! I haven't come across a brooch with a dangle before and I love the turquoise stone. Such a great piece Jenni :D
That would move so beautifully Jenni!
So pretty Jenni :-)
Very sweet compliment Kerri, much appreciated
You're right Karen it does move with you, and why I like this piece is it's rather small for its fancy style, which suits me fine as I'm petite
So happy you enjoyed it Judy
Thanks everyone for the kind words & luv
Nice Lisner piece with beautiful filigree work !~
I've never seen a Lisner piece signed this way. It must be an older brooch and oh my, isn't it gorgeous !!!
Thank you Phil for complimenting the filigree, it's kind of different isn't it
I know Ken, most other Lisner pieces I have are block letters like Weiss, but believe me this is an OLD one - when I first got it I thought it was tarnished, it was just dirty & needed a soap, water & toothbrush scrub
Thanks everybody for the luv

Not a big fan of Lisner, but this brooch is the exception! Looks silver?... possibly made during the war years?
Beautiful Jenni!
Many thanks for the kind comment & observation Eileen, perhaps it is gold wash on silver from the war years, very possible - it is certainly an old and unusual style
Very grateful for the luv all,

You are welcome Jenni - I love the attached bars that move too.
They're nice, right Val, thanks - although somehow I think the dangle shape is a little like a military medal lol

Many thanks for your thoughtful love six-0-one, I am very pleased that you located this old Lisner dangle brooch, it was quite the project to clean it originally but think it turned out well
